Who can use the service?
- Students, faculty and staff at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus are invited to send your research questions to our business librarians.
Due to limited resources, we may need to limit this service to students, faculty, and staff at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus. If you are not affiliated with the University of Minnesota, we can respond to your questions about availability of library services or about resources unique to our collections. If you are not affiliated with the University of Minnesota, we may be able to provide quick factual information, but we cannot provide comprehensive e-mail reference assistance.

What is this service?
- Business Reference staff will help you to find the information you need. Send us your e-mail questions concerning journal or book holdings, definitions, stock prices, addresses, telephone numbers, and other brief, factual information. We cannot offer comprhensive research help through this service, but we can offer some suggestions on how you can get started with your research and what library sources or electronic sources you can check for the information you need.
When will I get a response?
- Library staff check for incoming e-mail requests several times a day, Monday through Saturday (excluding Sundays and holidays). We will try to respond to your requests via e-mail within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays).
